OUR MISSION
Clean Oceans is dedicated to stopping plastics entering our oceans and waterways, with a goal of banning all single use plastics on every Australian beach by 2025.
OUR PROGRAMS
How corporations, schools, organisations and local communities can support Clean Oceans to make one thing clear:
The Ugly Facts
The fact is, the facts are ugly. With an estimated 15,000 plastic bottles thrown away every minute in Australia alone, 5000 PET bottles thrown away every second globally and less than 4% of these being recycled. Most ends up in landfill, being burned or in our oceans. Something has to be done to keep our oceans clean for future generations.
How
Clean Oceans will be working with a variety of partners to achieve this goal, our first stage involves a huge activation with Surf Life Saving Clubs around Australia. We will be getting down and dirty with cost effective and easy solutions to all surf lifesaving clubs and Nippers programs around Australia to kick plastic off our beaches once and for All.
Each Nipper will be gifted with their own stainless steel water bottle, and we will also be supplying clubs with recycling and waste bins, and portable refilling water stations. We are all about re-education, we’ve created an educational program, that can be presented by our Clean Oceans team, on the importance of a plastic free planet, with an aim to encourage everyone to reduce and recycle and create an environment for community awareness.
Vision
We are dedicated to the Clean Oceans campaign & our vision to ban all single use plastics on Australian beaches by 2025. It’s an ambitious goal, so we need your help! It’s not easy being green, so we need to re-educate our communities to work together, to make a difference for the greater good of the planet and our oceans. We need volunteers to help & brands to get involved on a partnership level, together we can help get the ocean clear of all plastics!
YOU CAN HELP!

Brett Pattinson has a diverse, proven track record, which includes breaking into new territories across the globe. He is a premium business counsellor and consultant minus the extraneous lip service.

Hello and welcome.
I am guessing if you are reading this you really do want to know a little more about me, but I am also guessing that you do not want to read chapters and chapters on all the things I have done. Truth is, most of it is irrelevant in the context of where we find ourselves today.
However, it is worth mentioning that since 1998 I have had the privilege to work with over 1500 franchisees in the Food & Beverage Sector around the world, with a great number of other business types thrown in.
Despite being known as a coffee expert, that is not who I am. I would best describe myself as someone who loves helping other business owners in the retail space become entrepreneurs – to improve their lives, their businesses & most importantly, their financial position.
The HIGHER PURPOSE I have set for myself is to use my imagination, vast experience and great people skills to inspire, motivate and instruct franchisees and small business owners everywhere in how to unlock their unlimited potential and the true potential of their business.
At Clean Oceans, Brett and I share a passion, to fight the war on waste. Our hope is that we can help create an international community that will rid our oceans of waste in particular single use plastics! with the possibility that when I fall off the perch I will leave the planet better than how I found it.
